The pain management division is comprised of Michael Poss, M.D., N. Scott Ashcraft, D.O., Brian Lapp, PA-C, and Maria Read, NP-C.  Both Dr. Poss and Dr. Ashcraft are board certified in anesthesiology and pain management.  We use non-operative measures to address painful symptoms related to spinal and peripheral nerve conditions. Our treatment focus is minimally invasive, x-ray guided, injection techniques. Furthermore, our providers have an interest in helping patients with a wide variety of painful conditions that is not limited to the spine.

Each of the physicians at VBSC is engaged in ongoing clinical research to explore and substantiate the latest advances in operative and non-operative methods of diagnosis and treatment of painful disorders. We have two on-site state-of-the-art interventional pain suites dedicated to minimally invasive procedures.
